DEKRA is recognized as official testing company by Amazon

Sep 18, 2026

DEKRA has been officially recognized as a Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company by Amazon within the Direct Product Validation (DPV) Program. Sellers at Amazon can now commission DEKRA to test or certify their products, allowing them to be distributed in specific regional markets.

Amazon’s DPV Program is designed to help ensure that products sold on Amazon marketplaces comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements before they are offered. Through preliminary product validation, the DPV program aims to reduce risks and accelerate market access.
Various product categories
DEKRA is now officially listed as a recognized TIC provider for numerous product categories to be sold on the Amazon marketplace in North America and/or the European Union, such as toys, clothing storage units, e-mobility, infant feeding products, laser products, power banks and portable power stations and products containing button cell and coin batteries. Additional product categories are currently under evaluation and are expected to be added soon.
DEKRA’s Division Digital & Product Solutions operates a global network of state-of-the-art laboratories and certification bodies to offer a broad portfolio of product testing services, based on national and international standards as well as industry and customer requirements: cybersecurity, AI, connectivity, product safety and product certification, EMC/RF, medical devices and automotive.
